I have already taken you to the Helmhaus here. The Helmhaus, (also called Helmhütte), lies at an altitude of 2,433 m and is a former Italian border hut on the mountain ridge between South and East Tyrol.
The special thing about this tour, however, was that I was not alone. I was on the road with my son Emil and our mountain bikes. It’s just great when you can pass on your own passion to your children and it gives them at least as much pleasure.
