Autumn has so many flavours. Apples and cinnamon are definitely among them. These two come into their own in our apple and cinnamon cake. Of course, we don’t want to deprive you of this recipe.
You will need the following ingredients:
2 to 3 apples
45 g sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
360 g flour
200 g sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 vanilla pod
300 ml milk
110 g melted butter
100 g butter – also melted
150 g brown sugar
3 tsp cinnamon powder
How to prepare the apple and cinnamon cake:
Peel the two apples and cut them into small cubes, which you mix with the 45 g sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon and put to one side.
Mix the flour with the sugar, the baking powder, the eggs, the pulp of the vanilla pod, the milk and the melted butter to a dough and set aside briefly.
Now you have to mix the 100 g melted butter with 150 g brown sugar and 3 tsp cinnamon.
Mix the apples marinated in cinnamon with the dough and put everything into a springform pan that you have either greased or lined with baking paper. Now spread the butter-sugar-cinnamon mixture over the dough and work it into the dough a little with a fork (like a marble cake).
Now place the cake in the oven at 180 °C top and bottom heat for about 45 minutes on the middle shelf. After just a few minutes, a heavenly aroma wafts through your kitchen. Let yourself be surprised by who it attracts!
