On the Passo Monte Croce to Comelico Superiore

We enjoyed the wonderful weather at the weekend and once again went on a tour. From Sesto over the Passo Monte Croce (SS 52) to Comelico Superiore, the northernmost municipality in the province of Belluno.

Do you know the Passo Monte Croce?

The Passo Monte Croce is very close to Sesto and is the Alpine pass between South Tyrol and Veneto (province of Belluno). It connects the Sesto Valley with the Cadore at an altitude of 1636 m and forms the watershed between the Sesto stream and the Padola. In the pictures you can see the Torrente Padola, a beautiful waterfall south of the Passo Monte Croce.

To the east, the pass is overlooked by the Carnic Alps. To the west rise the Sesto Dolomites. The 3 Peaks Nature Park finds its easternmost point at the Kreuzberg Pass.

You should definitely remember the Passo Monte Croce for your next trip to beautiful South Tyrol.

Many greetings, yours
