The Enjoyment and Culture Festival on 07 and 08 August 2021
Laas is characterised by artists, marble quarrying and fruit growing. Thus, in 2021, the popular summer festival Marble and Apricots will once again take place in the marble village of Laas, where artists, fruit growers and visitors will celebrate a cultural-culinary festival.
The feast
For over twenty years now, the culture and enjoyment festival has allowed visitors to participate in the old Laas traditions of fruit growing and stone quarrying. During the festivities, guests can look over the shoulders of stone sculptors and watch new sculptures being created.
The programme is rounded off by a colourful market with local products and handicrafts, creative exhibitions by local artists, musical performances, guided tours on the theme of marble and culinary specialities based on apricots.
Marble & Apricots 2021
The festival will take place in a different way than usual in 2021 due to Corona, according to the organisers.
However, the m&m market will be held in its usual form for the most part, as will the speciality weeks in the restaurants. The shops in Lasa will also remain open for an extended period on these two days, and there will also be exhibitions and cultural and marble tours.
