We already introduced you to the Messner Mountain Museums of the famous alpinist Reinhold Messner.
And Juval Castle with the MMM Juval is really always worth a trip. The inner courtyards with Himalayan cedars and a dozen rooms can be visited. Among them the house chapel with religious symbols from three millennia, the “Cave of Enlightenment” or the “House of Trolls and Gnomes”.
You can see the world’s most extensive Tibetan collection, a mountain picture gallery over several floors and Reinhold Messner’s collection of masks from five continents. There are also insights into private living quarters and the expedition cellar with original equipment for extreme tours.
And that’s why I got on my bike a few days ago in beautiful weather and rode from Algrund to Juval Castle and brought you a few more impressions.
